1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BackStory, you agree to comply with these terms and all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Use of the Service

• You must be at least 13 years old.
• You are responsible for the content you submit.
• You agree not to submit harmful, illegal, or unauthorized content.
• You may not reverse engineer or overloading the systems.

3. AI-Generated Content

AI results are experimental and generated based on your submissions. Outputs may vary in accuracy or relevance. BackStory makes no warranties regarding the reliability of AI-generated insights. Use discretion when relying on or sharing this content.

4. Payments

Some features may require payment. Payments are processed securely via Stripe. You agree to abide by Stripe’s terms of service and are responsible for any charges incurred through your account.

5. Accounts and Access

• Google is used for authentication along with other methods. By logging in, you agree to share your public Google profile data.
• Do not share access credentials with others. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any violation of these terms or misuse of the service.

7. Limitation of Liability

BackStory is provided "as-is" with no warranties. We are not liable for damages resulting from your use of the service, including reliance on AI-generated content.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain rights to the content you submit. However, you grant BackStory a non-exclusive license to store and process that content for the purpose of providing and improving services.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes implies acceptance of the new terms.
